apostrophe in an email message

When I type an apostrophe in an email message it inserts extra spaces between
the last letter and the apostrophe.
 
Is this a question? If so, please clarify it, together with
- your version of Outlook
- your account type (POP/SMTP, IMAP, Exchange)
- message type (plain text, HTML, RTF)
- email editor (Outlook, Word)
 
The question is why does it add extra spaces after the apostrophe? Outlook
