APA style citation inline

Hi,

I really like the new bibliography functions within Word 2007, but I have an
additional request for the APA style referencing.
The only way of referencing currently seems to be: "... (Author, Year)."
When using a APA reference in text like: "Accoring to Author (Year) ..."
a different format is being used.

It is possible to create this kind of reference, but the option I use is to
translate the citation into static text and then remove the parenthesis.

I don't think there is a better way to accomplish this. Can this be added?

I agree, this is a style of citation that should be added.

I am also wondering why when you enter an intext citation for a source with
more than 2 authors, why are all the author listed? I believe it is common
practice in many styles to list as (Author, et al, Year) when there are
several authors.
I am searching for a solution please.

In Chicago style, if there are three or fewer authors, all are listed
every time. If there are more than seven, you can et al. them even at
the very first citation.

I agree, this is a style of citation that should be added.

You can write your own citation styles. It does require some knowledge
of XSLT though. But Microsoft is working on making it more user-
friendly last time I heard. There is no way to differentiate between
active and passive mode though. You can always type out the author
name and then add the citation where you suppress the author (using
the Edit Citation menu).

They aren't always, it purely depends on the style you are using. What
you require would be something else than what Microsoft names APA.
(The latter sentence is formatted to avoid any discussion about the
correctness of the APA implementation).

you can find a style which only displays one author if there is more
than one. It uses square brackets though. To replace the square
brackets, look for "<xsl:text>[</xsl:text>" and "<xsl:text>]</
xsl:text>" (without the quotes) in the file and change the [ and ] to
the brackets you want. For more detailed installation instructions of
