aol mail causes crash of IE 6

When checking aol mail in IE6 on XP home computer, I get a
message to be sent to microsoft with the following details.
AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1226
Offset: 0011859b
Then ie crashes (closes)
How can I correct this error? I did not have a problem
with this for months, and now suddenly this occurs
everytime I check aol mail through IE6.
