aol im trojan "aol.pwsteal"

My kid clicked a link on AOL IM and now the Task Manager
won't run, can't run REGEDIT or MSCONFIG unless in Safe
Mode. Scanned with latest NAV and Ad-Aware too. Deleted
all components listed by Ad-Aware. Re-installed AIM 5.5
and still get hijacked with the link
