Please Help, I have been asking on several sites and cannot find anyone that
can help me accomplish the following task. If someone knows how to do this I
would be very appreciative for the information. If it can't be done then
someone please tell me so I can put it to bed and forget about trying to do
it. Thanks in advance.. The problem: I am trying to get my aol e-mail to
download to my Axim X50v PDA through outlook 2002 and active sync. I set up
the IMAP account in outlook 2002 as instructed in the help section and I can
get the mail to download intpo a folder marked IMAP.AOL.COM. There is an
inbox there and sent mail and saved mail etc. I have two problems. First, I
cannot get active sync to download anything from the IMAP folder to my PDA. I
am wanting to get my mail on the PDA so I can view it off line. A second
problem is that there is some mail that does get to the inbox and sent folder
that has a flag under the icon for the header status . If there is a flag
present I cannot open the mail even in outlook. It says that I have to be on
line. I went on Line and I still cannout open the flaged mail in outlook. I
don't know why some mail has that flag under the header staus icon and some
mail doesn't. Anyone that can help.. Please do and Thank you again. Please if
it can't be done let me know so I can give up this search. I have spent many
many hours on this and still can't get it done. I have followed all
suggestions to date.

Thanks Brian, now another problem.. I get the Aol mail to download to the
IMAP inbox of outlook 2002, but the mail cannot be opened. I just see the
headers and when I click on it to read I get a message that I need to be on
line. I go on line to AOL and still can't open it. I get the same message. I
did notice that there is a flag under the header status column. When that
flag is present I can't open the mail, when there is no flag I can open it.
Also When I hit connect to IMAP server in the file menu I can open the mail.
Any help or ideas as to what I am doing wrong or how to get this smoothly I
would appreciate. I woud like to just hit send/receive when I have a
connection get the mail in outlook and then later offline read and respond to
it. Thanks...Les

Press ALT-CTRL-S, select your Send/Receive group, and click Edit. Select
the IMAP account. Is "Include the selected account..." checked? How about
the other options on that page? What's checked and what's not?
