AOL browser can't access password protected site

Jeremy

I have a subweb, password protected with Frontpage extensions security. It
seems AOL browsers can't get into this subweb. I had the same problem
earlier with a site that I protected with Frontpage username and password.
My previous solution was to tell people to not use AOL browser, but I can't
do that this time.
How can I make it possible for AOL browsers to log in successfully?
Thanks!

I've had the same issues. Believe me, we've tried everything. (At least I've
got IE, Netscape, and a few other browsers taken care of.) It is much easier
to teach your AOL visitors to use IE when visiting your site than it is to
fix it.

Consider using service side script to protect content.

I had the same problem and the solution was to have the site authentication
changed from Windows integrated to Basic.
