Hi
I have a client with a database where the data is stored in Access tables
(.mdb file) but the forms etc are .rpd files. Anybody got any idea what these
might be and whether they can be converted to Access reports, forms etc?
Thanks, Sheila

There are several choices, according to http://filext.com/. I couldn't tell
you if they can be converted, or for that matter how it works at all in the
current set-up, but rather am just pointing you toward additional
information.

So if you changed the extension to DOC it would become a Word Document or to
XLS it becomes an Excel Spreadsheet?

If you do not know, why post. Oh, I forgot. It's just another attempt to
advertise.

Been away for a little while Steve??
Since no one wants your advertising/job hunting here you are allowed to stay away longer!
Again: It is approved by lots of us here if you would get lost.

Over 800 !! users from the newsgroups have visited the website to read what kind of a 'resource' you are... (rapidly increasing..)

BUT you really are making progress IMO
I just saw another webpage totally devoted to you.
You do succeed in annoying people here!!

Interesting. When you post fake advise you promote your website, but when
you do personal attacks, there is no reference to your website. Do you
believe that the newsgroup readers are too stupid to connect the dots?

The newsgroup readers recognize you as nothing but an A$$ that is an
embarassment to what MVP stands for!!!!!

yeah - right!

Just a pure guess ---

Change the .rpd to .mdb and try to open in Access.

Just for your information -----

Sometimes a filename extension might be changed to "hide" the software
package that created the file. I just thought this might be a possibility
for your .rpd files.

There was no need for you to be rude about it!!!

Rude? That's precious coming from you.

(Now, give us an example of how "polite" you are.)

Here's a perfect example ---

YOU ARE A LOW-LIFE ASS THAT IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO WHAT MVP STANDS FOR!!!

I hope you aren't still trying to promote your business. If a potential
client does a search this sort of thing will show up along with everything
else.
