Papa Gene

Not shareware or a demo....just.....free? Doesn't need to be real fancy.

Thanks!

almost each audio application has one

or are you looking for one that will do this globaly to all sounds from your
pc?

Papa Gene ....

For solving equations you might check on a program
called DeadLine ....

http://deadline.3x.ro/

It appears to be freeware and includes parametric equation solvers
which are mentioned on right side of page under new features ....

I haven't tried it myself ....

er.....I think he means "parametric sound equalizer"... not mathematical
equations...

Thanks for the translation ....

I have a chemistry/math background
so EQ normally translates for me
as equation instead of equalizer ....

I didn't realize that, although I should have because when googling I kept
coming up with math sites as well as sound sites.

My apologies for not being clearer, and thanks for the help.

Gene ....

No problem ....

I also learned about the existence of some sound technology
that I didn't know about before ....

I think the parametric equations and the way a parametric equalizer
functions are related...:-)

I might be mistaken but you can look into it.

What are the mathematic rules an equalizer follows to change a sound? :-)
