Anyone got a Mitsubishi 22" 2070 Monitor any good need a new one.

I have had a Mitsubuishi 2040u 22" screen for over a year now and it is
excellent. If the 2070 is an improvement on this, you are in for a real
treat.

i have a simular one... a NEC multisync 22" FE1250 (with the flat
nec/mitsubishi apature grill tube). it rocks with my 9700 pro. not bad
for a 3yr old monitor

I can get it for 1500 bucks Australian.

Would be an Improvement over my curvy 19 incher.

Thats going to be for my backup pc

Expect for the two lines on the monitor, Flatron aint it, they have
the faint lines, do you see them while typeing a letter ?

It's usually a Trinitron tube, but basically it's aperture grill instead of
shadow mask. All Sony Tubes have had the wires for a long time (4+ years).
I don't really notice them as a rule, and even though you've just mentioned
it, they don't jump out at me. Thats because they're not big enough to see
in your peripheral vision. (on my Sony G400, at least). You will notice
them most when you have a large white expanse on the screen.

Interestingly (maybe the Trinitron patent has expired. So it's quite
possible it's not a Trinitron tube. I suspect Sony has had their moneys
worth in licencing the tech to other manufacturers. I wouldn't like to be
given the task of estimating how many Trinitron tubes have been produced...

They're probably licenced tech from Sony. They're good tubes. And from
what I've seen of Mitsubishi, you get more for your money than with a Sony.

I paid £400 for an E400 and had so many problems, Sony (well, the people
that look after their warranties here) replaced it with a G400.

1600by1200 85hertz as well HMM yummy.

It's nice. Everybody says my text is too small, but hey... it works for me.
Most of the time I know what the smallest text says anyway (dialog boxes
etc)
