I was infected by this worm that keeps giving me email returns from the
postmaster like this:

"Undelivered mail to (e-mail address removed)"

"Message Follows:"

I scanned my computer with MicroTrend House call and it found something
unrelated to the above. I called my Cable company and they suggested to run
virus removal tools at Symmantic. I did this for maybe 15 of them and still
no luck getting it.

Anyone know the name of this worm/virus?

Thanks

Did you turn off "system restore"?
Right Click on My Computer, click on properties, uncheck system
restore. then run your anti-virus program again.
You can also try this tool:
Download this program,
McAfee AVERT Stinger
to a floppy and then run it
on the infected computer.
http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
That should remove it.
Good Luck,
Tom

Hi,

It may not be you. The virus "spoofs" or fakes its return address. The
emails you are getting may be the result of someone else being infected and
the worm sending email from that machine using your email address in the
"return address" field to disguise its real source. When the recipient's av
detection routine (probably at the server level) detects the malware, it
automatically sends the reject notice to the sender (which it thinks is
you). Just ignore them and make sure your own system is clean.
