Any way to share a DVD Burner?

We have a small home network - one wired and one wireless computer.

A DVD burner is installed in the wired machine and is working.

Is there any way the burner can be accessed by the wireless computer?

Apparently it can't be "shared" .?

You could try this program which will allow you to control the 2nd PC and
its peripherals via a separate window on your PC.

I should have also mentioned that I would like to be able to backup
both computers to the DVD burner.
