Any way to monito GPU temp?

Is there anyway I can capture GPU temp? So far from what I can tell there
is no way of real way unless your video card has a (diode?) to capture the
temp.

I purchased a "ATI" 9600 Pro 2 weeks ago and when I opened my case I found
that the fan was not spinning. (Ok it was spinning but maybe 3 RPM). Which
now leads me to find a third-party fan for it. Any opinions on fan?

(Reason I am not returning is because it was bought via mail.)

Thanks!

you realize that by changing the fan you are voiding all warranty? So if the
GPU fails or anything it is all yours with no recourse..and the latest Cats
have a temp monitor in it..I know my 9600XT is capable but do not know if
your card is
