any way to leave "remote user" off guestlog?

This is a minor problem, but the guestbook at
http://www.cjmorgan.com/guestbook.htm is not set to record remote user. But
in the entries, the field name is still there. It looks odd.

I'm not sure about recording the date and time, either. I'd kind of like to
know that for myself so I know what the site looked like when the viewer
made an entry. But maybe it's not something other viewers would care about?

Will appreciate advice. TIA

1. Right-click the guet book form, and then select Form
Properties.
2. Click the Options button.
3. Click the Saved Fields tab.
4. Clear the Username check box.
5. Click OK and OK.
6. Save the page and test.

This won't clean up existing entries, but it will fix new
ones.

Aargh. I didn't realize that changing the page would make me lose all the
prior entries. Now they're gone and there's no way to get them back. I wish
I'd left it alone.
