A simpler solution: open a mail account in Yahoo's UK, DE or FR sites: they
allow POP3. Then you can use any mail client. With attachments if you wish.

I've been using yahoopops (http://sourceforge.net/projects/yahoopops/)
without a hitch. It's available across Win & *nix platforms and is
licensed under GPL (open sourced).
Although it's "beta" it's been working as advertised.
hi
i am using yahoopops to get mail from yahoo inbox, but can it be used
to send mail too?
I gave localhost as smtp server in my email client and it is giving
"authorization error". Any help is highly appreciated in this regard
thanx
