any program conflicts with Word 2003

Any ideas why I wait for 23 seconds after I launch Word 2003? Outlook Excel
Publisher Access and PowerPoint all launch and are on screen within 2
seconds.I've done a fix and repair. Everything seemed to be ok. Once Word is
on screen it acts normal with all functions...it just takes that abnormal
length of time to appear.Has this happened to anyone else? I'd appreciate
your advise. Thanks.
