Any nice holidays booked?

Well can't decide what to do this year, was thinking of a week walking in Scotland or a week at a real ale festival, one would get me to see nice parts of the countryside, the other nice beers and a lot of drunks. I just can't decide

You could always go to a real ale festival in Scotland - two birds with one stone?

Scotland would be whisky, salmon & smoked kippers and chilling out in some remote fishing village, the odd long walk & sitting in a quiet pub. Beer festivals tend to be in towns, much prefer them in small villages. Used to be a good one The West Fest Beer Festival held in Somerset but not sure if it still runs, once managed 41 out of 44 beers one weekend .

Anyone know of any nice quiet pubs that do B&B, would prefer on the coast

No need to i'm a 1/4 scottish, may need it to go north of watford though
