Any idea why a single occurrence becomes recurring meetings in out

I'm running Office 2003 and experience situations where the scheduling of a
single meeting occurrence translates into a recurring meeting in some users'
Outlook calendars. It appears that it happens to users utilizing laptops. Any
ideas?
 
All your users have DELL laptops and Dell have an addin running in Outlook
that does that to all meetings. Remove it.
