Any have ideas on how to get Norton System Works 2004 installed on a PC connected to a domain

I have been attempting to install NSW2004 on a desktop PC. It has XP Pro and is logged onto a domain [example.com]

When I attempt to install NSW 2004 it throws up 'error...must be logged in as administrator'. I have identified that it is actually requesting that the user login required is that of administrator on the domain controller

When I login as administratot, it installs fgine: problem is that when I login as the desktop user, NSW wants to install again and of course I am stuck in the 'non-administrator' authorisation

How does one get NSW to accept that it is installed on the system and allows all 'users' to run on that PC?

I would suggest that you try logging back in as the domain admin and removing NSW. Then I would login as the local workstation admin and reinstall. See if that works. Check Symantec's web site for info about installing in a domain environment.
