Could anyone recommend any good books for administering XP workstations in a
Windows 2000 DC LAN?
Something that covers Policies/Profiles etc, and also one that covers Office
XP/2002.
Thanks.

Any of the windows for dummies books are good. I have win2k server for
dummies myself. Haven't used it in a long time, but it has lots of good
info.

'Dummies' books are good, but the ones I was looking at didn't have anything
much on Profiles and Policies, which I would like to know more about.

Sorry, thats really the only book I've used before. Most of the answers
you'll need or info you'll need could probably found on www.google.com

There are two good books on XP from Microsoft press:

"Microsoft Windows XP Inside Out" by Bott and Siechert, ISBN
0-7356-1382-6
which is probably the one for that, and
"Microsoft Windows XP Networking inside Out" - Simmons. ISBN
0-7356-1652-3
