Any freeware similar to Norton System Works?

Is there any freeware that will check for and sort out problems in Windows,
hardware, registry, HDD etc probably similar to Norton System Works i.e. a
general 'fix all' package or even separate utilities? If more than one which
can you recommend?

Far too difficult a request, because Norton System Works is actually a
series of programs (or if you prefer, "modules") that do different things.

I suggest that you go to this site:
