I think Plun could share some more on this, but I do remember persons
reporting a similar issue when they replaced those same .gcd files a
couple months back when build 613 I think was released and was giving
problems updating.

FAQ for MS AntiSpy
http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm
Andre,
Are these the only files you need to download for the
defs? Because if you copy these to the target and restart
Antispyware and check for update (without the Internet),
it will say it can't update and the defs. are still the
old ones (at least that's what the program says.)
???

Copy/paste these files to Program files/Microsoft
Antispyware
Restart MSAS and "check for updates"
The .gcd files contains the latest definitions.

Hello all,
Is there anyway to download Antispyware updates to put
to
a CD or such to install later on a PC that can't connect
to the Internet? If so, how and where can I download
them
from?
Thanks in advance,
Erik
