AntiSpyware problem with external drive

R

Rein Buskop

Using Microsoft AntiSpyware (MAS) I have the following
problem:

I have an external G:-drive connected. That isn't working
anymore after I installed (MAS). Now (of course) I like
to remove MAS. But, when trying so, I receive the
message: 'Error 1327, Invalid drive: G:\'

So it look like I came into a circle. Wih MAS G:\ doesn't
work will MAS conn't be undeleted will G:\ doesn't work.

Who nose the solution?

Have you tried:
1) Removing the drive.
2) Reinstalling the software/drivers.
3) Adding the drive.

Try using the SUBST command, or perhaps a NET USE or equivalent GUI command
if you are on a network, to create a legit, working, drive G.

At that point, you should be able to remove Microsoft Antispyware.

You can then reverse the SUBST or drive letter redirection, and get on with
figuring out what is actually wrong with the external drive--as the other
reply suggests.
