Antispyware can stop Group Policy

G

Geeb

I've noticed when certain group policies refresh on my
machine, the anti-spyware catches this and prompts for
action (ex. IE Home Page). Is MS aware that a user now has
the ability to subvert certain Group Policies by
click "Disallow" and "rememeber this action"? Is there
going to be an Anti-spyware Group Policy management
capability (ADM template) in the future?

This product is not designed for use in an Enterprise environment. There
are other issues as well:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003

Whether there will be such an enterprise product and what it will look like
have not been announced, but the current beta isn't suitable, as you've
noted.
