Anti-virus & Trojan

Hi

im trying to delete my old virus files as ive now installed a new one,
however when i go into add / remove programes is says
file c / trojan etc etc does not exist. cannot unistall..

Can anyone let me know how we can get rid of this as it is also happening
with another programme??
