anti spyware

I have updated my microsoft anti spyware, only to find everytime i try to
open it, it comes up with 'this version of microsoft anitspyware has expirde
as of July 2006. yet it is not 2006, and it wont open
Please help

Check your system date by double-clicking the clock on the right-hand side of
the Taskbar.

You need to drill down into the settings for your regional language
settings, in control panel, and find the tab for date formats--long and
short. Set each of these to the topmost setting, which is the default.
This should fix the problem, unless your date, is , in fact wrong.
