I have run the beta version and the latest updates and
nothing was detected. I also ran Ad-aware from Lavasoft and
it discovered 12 critical ones. How good is that!

But surely you're not relying solely on a BETA version of
software for your protection? Besides if you now ran
SPYBOT you'd probably find other things signalled as
Critical!

Beta version does not scan for cookies. That's probably what AdAware found.

Microsoft Antispyware doesn't scan cookies in the builds thus far released.
Why Lavasoft classifies cookies as critical objects, you'd need to ask them.
