Antec Sonata with Asus P4P800 - Front panel audio hookup - how?

N

I got my Sonata last summer but I wait till today to hook up the front
panel ports. I'm stuck with the audio. Sonata manual says there is a
cable with 6 wires marked with MIC-PWR, MIC-IN, MIC GND, R SPKR, L
SPK, SPK GND, but what I found on the case is a cable with 7 wires
marked AUD GND, FRONT-L, FRONT-R, MIC, MIC BIAS, RET-R, RET-L. The
ASUS P4P800 front panel audio has nine pins marked: MIC2, AGND,
MICPWR, +5VA, LINE_OUT_R, BLINE_OUT_R, NC, LINE_OUT_L, BLINE_OUT_L.
Any experts here know which wire goes which pin? Thanks.

Hi Nick,

The pin assignments are:

Case Motherboard
AUD GND AGND
FRONT-L LINE_OUT_L
FRONT-R LINE_OUT_R
MIC MICPWR
MIC BIAS MIC2
RET-R BLINE_OUT_R
RET-L BLINE_OUT_L

Leave the motherboard's +5VA and NC pins alone. Hope this helps.
