Some of you, including Rod, who replied to my several posts
concerning drive extremely slow file transfers between two drives
on same ide or within a hd when the files where in certain
locations.
I kept thinking it was hardware related-bad cable, bad controller,
bad drive. Well, today I installed win98 on another system with
two different drives. Guess what?-same problem. This is another
winshit problem caused by a MS junk Os's. Some transfers occur
quickly; whilst others take like 10 seconds. APPEARS as if winshit
is having trouble handling either the video or some other aspect
of transfer between two windows explorer windows. This occurs in
this new system when going between 48X cd-rw on diff channel than
hard drive. On other system it happened either with transfers on
the same drive, again only some of them or transfers between hds,
same ide.
I am really thinking this is just another bad aspect of winshit OS
products. really irritating.
