I'm reading a book on word and have an example on the computer. When I read
something and go to try it on the computer it has logged off and I must log
back in. I'm in the root level. I went to CONTROL PANAL => PERFORMANCE =>
MAINTENANCE => POWER OPTIONS and changed monitor and hibernate time but it
still does it after a couple minutes. Ideas?

Right click anywhere on your computer screen

Click Properties, then Screen Saver

You change the time and the power here
