Annoying Message

XP-2 Home: I uninstalled MS Office, (or thought I did) and ever
since, about 2 minutes after a clean boot a message always pops up
which says:

"MS Office Outlook".......Either there is no default mail client or
the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please
run MS Office outlook ant set it as the default mail client."

Any ideas on how to stop this? Thanks in advance.

if you open Internet Explorer and click on tools, internet options, you will
see a tab called 'programs' click on it and look at the
email program, it probably has outlook listed, click on the drop down menu
and choose outlook express. that should solve your problem.

Thanks techieguy. My OE works OK and the settings are correct as you
stated above. The problem has something to do with the MS Office
program I uninstalled. Something must have been left behind from said
program. It's just a nuisance to have to close that message after
re-booting. Everything else works OK.
