Hello!

I have some connection icons in the lower right tray that is yelling
'Status Connected/Not Connected' Respectively.
The messages is persistent windows that do not go away unless I click
on it's little x.

Needless to tell that this messages are terrorizing me quite often and
that my bloodpressure reaches new levels for each time I have to
interrupt my work to get rid of them.

Any Ideas to get rid of the messages popping up, permanently??

:)

Does the status don't go away even if you don't click the "x"?. If you want,
get rid of the icon too. Start > Connect to > Show all connections. On the
Network Connections Window, right click on your connection > choose
properties > On the General tab > Uncheck the box (lowest part) Show icon in
the notification area when connected.

Glad to be of help. Have your blood pressure checked frequently, thats the
safest than getting rid of that icon.
