Anniversary's in Calendar

How do you put an anniversary in your calendar without putting a start date? Is it possible?

I have an anniversary which shows up with a line through the little arrows which stand for a recurring item.

This item doesn't show a year (number in brackets) after it on my PDA.

I have no idea how I have done this, because this would be useful for some anniversary's where I don't know the start year.

Does anyone have any help with this? There must be a way. What do others do if they don't know the start date?

Tim Purves,
1. Well if you have the month and date, you can temporarily set the date as
an all-day event using this year.
In Outlook> Select Calendar> Select the date for this year> Fill in the
information for the event> Then under the Recurrence tab> Set it to show
every year. Then save it.
2. When you finally get the year. Find the entry on our calendar, Right
click the event>Select Open Series...> Adjust the date to show the correct
year> Check under the Recurrence tab, and make sure date is set to show
every year> then save and close the event> Check through a couple of years,
making sure their are no duplicates.
