ANN: TraceXLL Beta (free download)

Jens Thiel

TraceXLL logs all communications between Excel and native XLL add-ins, e.g.
the registration of worksheet functions, callbacks from your add-in to Excel
and of course the invocation of add-in functions and commands. You can even
diagnose third-party add-ins as you do not need to modify source code or
recompile. TraceXLL does *not* require the .NET platform.

More information and free downloads are available from our website:

Hi Jens

The link ManageXLL.net site for the TraceXLL does not show a download URL
link.

Is there any other way of downloading this it?

Thanks.

Hi Samson,

Try clicking "Download" at the top right of the web page and then click
"Support Forum" link at the foot of the new page.

According to the send page:

"To download TraceXLL, register at the ManagedXLL Support Forum and go to
the TraceXLL Downloads. A beta release is available free of charge provided
that you accept the following license: "

Samson,

the beta is available from the support forum, but has expired on Dec 31th. I
will release a new version within the next few days. Contact me directly
(through the web page or by replacing MSDN with Jens in my email address) if
you need it earlier or have any other question.

Best regards,

Jens.

Hi Jens,

When I tried to register I get this message:

Sorry, but this e-mail address/provider has been banned.
Use a bona-fide address, please.

I used a hotmail account.

Regards.

Samson.
