Unfortunately I was unable to attend the chat. I am finding very little
support for some simple problems. You had replied to my post a week or so
ago abount not being able to deploy a simple SC app to my new PPC. You
suggested that I reset my device and reinstall VS.NET. I've done this and I
see no difference in behavior. Do I need to install any othe software,
drivers, etc? How about the configuration settings? All mine are at
defaults. When I choose Deploy from the Solution Explorer, Visual Studio
tries to connect for several seconds and then says "
Error: Cannot establish a connection. Be sure the device is physically
connected to the development computer."
My PPC is connected, in the cradled, awake, and ActiveSync works.
I can create CABs but what is the recommended method for deploying a CAB to
the device?
Do I create a Setup project? I did this and ended up deploying the app to
my desktop PC.

Have you googled that exact error text? I've never had it, but it's a
commonly reported error, and I get back 225 results from Groups.
