Animated GIF in the signature block of Outlook 2003

I tried to insert an animated GIF into the signature block as instrruction
(worked in Office 2000) but it won't display under Outlook 2003. Anyone know
why it doesn't work (or how to get it to) in 2003?
 
I'd suggest asking in a newsgroup related to Outlook.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
