Hi there,

Can anybody help me out with the following message? I'm trying to instal and
configure the DHCP server service on a w2k advanced server with SP4. The
problem shows itself whenever a networking service needs to be installed.

"An error occurred which prevented the Dynamic Host
Control Protocol (DHCP) component from being installed or
removed. The error was 0x800F0102."

Hello Dave,

I've taken a look at the document, but I can't seem to find the possible
sollution. But I suspect that you mean that I have to investigate the
configuration of the machine?
