This is the Dream Machine that was build by the editors at Maximum PC magazine. Do you have what it takes to beat out the american muscle?;)

for a dream system why on earth are they using hitatchi drives ? stick a couple of WD 150GB Raptors in Raid 0 for the OS and 4 seagate 1TB drives in RAID 6 for storage

personally i wouldn't bother with the dual boot either

Dream machine my arse they only spent $200 on the case . They should have used this ,

4GB ram would be nice, along with the raptors already suggested :)

yep, also throw in a physics engine just incase the 8800's aren't enough for you and one of those killer NIC's as well

i though the same on many points made. compared to last years DM, this years was more... economical
are those Killer NIC worth the performance/price ratio?

no idea alf but i probably makes some sort of difference, whether its good or not it dunno
