Amd 64 3500/ Abit AV8 3rd Eye/ Antec P/S problem

Antec 550 TruControl PS failed with continuous reboots
with AV8 3rd Eye and AMD 64 3500+.

Replaced with a Thermaltake 420W and everything works fine.

The Antec works in every other pc I've got, including 2 Abit
NF7-S boards, but I've seen others having problems with it and the
newer Abit boards also. Antec says they're aware of the problem.

Components so far:

Amd 64 3500+ Winchester core
Thermalright XP-90 HS
Thermaltake 92mm fan
Abit AV8 3rd Eye mb
Mushkin 2 x 512 PC4000 DRR

Ram timings are 1T 2.5,3,3,7
CPU O/C 10 x 250

Running Memtest 4+ hours now, no errors.
Uguru clock showing 2500 MHz cpu, 45C for cpu,
28C MB, 37c P/S, 28C room temp, 3520 rpm CPU fan, 1920 P/S fan,
1740 case fan, 1.42v cpu, 2.69v ram.

I think I read somewhere about there being a problem with either Antec or
Asus power supplies and Athlon64 processors. There may be a recall or some
capacitor needs to be changed or something. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Antec, something about a cap on the 5v usb circuit.
Supposedly Antec will fix it for free. Eh, I'll just use the Antec in
something else. I've got a 485W Enermax on the way to replace it.
