Amazon.com script error

I am trying to setup a user account on Amazon.com. I get all the way to the
point of entering my name when I get a script error. The error is:

An error has accured in the script on this page.

Line: 845
Char: 1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/flex-sign-in-done/104-6211676-0058355

Do you want to continue running scripts on the page?
Yes or No

It doesn't matter which on you choose it still comes up with the script
error.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer 6sp2

Thank you in advance

A week ago (July 9th in fact) I fetched up a "Stack overflow
at line: 1025" error on one of Amazon's pages. Clicking on
OK did no good and I couldn't shut down by clicking on [x]
either. I had to force it to shut down using the Task
Manager.

Amazon may have been (may still be) fiddling with their
code. If your own Java is up to date the problem may lie
with them in other words.

See if that page is cached. E.g. open the TIF viewer (Alt-T,O,Alt-S,V)
Use Details sorted by Last Accessed. (Alt-V,D Alt-V,I,Last Accessed)

If it's there drag it to an open Notepad window.
Make sure that Notepad's Status bar is on, (Alt-V,S)
(in which case Word Wrap must be off (Alt-o,W)
Scroll to line 845. What's there?

Thank you in advance
