Alternate Conditional Pattern as #'s Chg

Excel2003 ...

I have a list of numbers which may repeat a random # of times.
The numbers are sorted in Ascending order.

Each time the number chgs I wish Conditional Format to "Alternate" the Cell
Pattern (ie: Blue, Grn, Blue, Grn etc)

What would Conditional Format formula be to achieve this?

Thanks ... Kha

Do the numbers change because the cell contains a formula or do they change
because of user input??

You did it again ... Initially, I thought this would be an easy one ... I
tried the Formulas ... They worked fine, but scrolling practically stopped
.... Cosequently, I went with the "Helper" Col method.

Thanks again for supporting these boards & for your many solutions ... Kha

Yeah, those are calculation intensive formulas so would not be a good
solution on large amounts of data.

Thanks for the feedback!
