Alter Contact Management Template

Hello!
I'm altering the Contact Management template to better suit my needs. I'v
added several new fields and queries, forms, reports etc. with out any
problems. However I am having difficulty changing the show/hide field
"button"on the "Contact List" form. When go to show/hide fields it still
offers the orginal fields not the ones I currently have. When I go to the
macro (???) Im seeing any clear way for me to0 change anything. (like I have
done in other parts of this DB)
How can I change the box to show all my current fields? Is there a way to
have it update atomatically as I change the fields? This will eventually be
in use at a church. . . and information needs are bound to change.

Thanks so much for any help!

oh and I'm fairly new at this, if you haven't already noticed. Sorry for my
ignorance and thanks for your time :)

You need to change the recordsource for the form. It likely is a SQL
statement or a saved query that only includes the original fields.

Open the form in design view, and display the properties dialog (View,
properties). Find the RecordSource property.

Click on the build button (...) and add the fields you are missing.

When you return to the form, you should now see the additional fields in
the field list.
