People don't like to help Rude People - and you've certainly qualified
as Rude since you don't want to abide by the community norms/standards
for posting. I would imagine that only a priest or other helper of the
helpless will actually help you after this message.

You forgot a couple of things in your lengthy post:
a) Your technical question, and
b) Your courtesy towards potential respondents.
This makes it very hard to help you.

You need to figure ot your keyboard problem. This is NOT a Windows XP
problem. You need to contact your keyboard manufacturer to resolve your
keyboard issues.

Well, obviously, a lot of people do really care if you type small or big
because you didn't get an answer to your problem. The best way to get help
is to make it easy for someone to help you. And demanding help by shouting,
stamping your feet and hurling insults will get you nothing but the same
back. If you truely do have a problem seeing, changing the text size in
your newsreader will help you greatly. You will be able to see text you type
and the text you read much easier without annoying anyone.

I think you said it best, although he will miss it. If you have a
problem and need to adapt to society, do it or don't expect help.

Next we'll have the ACLU on our cases for not helping some idiot with
their computer because we oppressed the rights of the Capital Letters.

Large print is not the same as UPPER/lower case characters.

Please learn the difference!

Obviously everyone cares, because you don't have help, and you are not
likely to get it with your attitude. Now go away or I shall taunt you
again. (Monty Python) (PS, perhaps you missed it, but there was at least
one answer I saw)

I'm probably wasting my breath, but I'm going to try one more time. If you
want to be part of a community, you adhere to the community rules and
customs, whether or not you agree with them. If those rules and customs
bother you sufficently, then go somewhere else where they prefer your style.

No, you haven't gotten answers. Someobody who wants to flount the rules and
customs should expect to treated as a pariah and not get answers. Be a good
citizen of the newsgroup, be polite to those who might help you, and follow
the rules and the customs here, and you'll be treated like everyone else.
Continue with what you're doing ansd you'll just find your way into almost
everyone's killfiles.

Bobcat

You have attracted the very same people who thought it was rude for you to
type in CAPs, and all they did was STOP, (CAPs attracted them I guess) they
entered, they read and they posted and all they had to do was SIMPLE, a few
days ago, answer your question, because the energy expelled in Preaching was
far more than would have been expelled in Helping. Funny World ain't it?

I have always gotten some good advice here and I thought the people here
got a Good feeling from helping.

Someone had already posted an answer to the original post and said that it's
an AOL issue and not a Windows issue. So contact AOL about it, that's why
they are priced higher than everyone else, so that people can call them and
get one-on-one help whenever needed.

As far as the preaching goes, I see that you spent more time and energy on
submitting content to that thread than any other person did.

I haven't read his posts, only the subjects and name.

And isn't it strange that his name "bobcat1," doesn't have one cap in
it.

ROFL! But people aslo need to help themselves get helped. Sure the
idiot has drawn attention to his posts, but not to his problem. Stirs
up the pot. Me smelled troll from its first post, and me play with
trolls, the same way a cat plays with a mouse it has caught.

Please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all caps, as you have
done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is considered very rude
by a large number of people. More importantly, posting in all caps
makes the post harder to read, further reducing your chances of getting
help; a great many people won't even try to read such a message. If you
really want help, simply comply with the dictates of common courtesy and
the conventions of the milieu.

I supported Bobcat and I spent more time, because I answered every single
post aimed at me or aimed at the point. I defended the Caps and addressed
every point of view addressed to MY remarks, so why shouldn't I have had more
posts? I was replying.... Nice to be noticed....
