Alphabetizing NOTES in Outlook 2003

I am unable to alphabetize my NOTES in Outlook. They were OK in Outlook
2000, but now when I select SORT, ascending, it doesn't give me an alphabetic
choice. I've Googled for several days with no success to find the answer.
HELP!

Which Notes folder view are you using?
