If you go to Kellys-Korner.com and pick your operating
system, there is a registry key you can click that will
make it automatically alpabetize along with something
else, the Start Menu I think. There is a bunch of stuff
like that there.
Open "Favorites" from the menu bar (not the tool-bar button) and right
click anywhere in the list - choose "sort by name" from the right click
menu. This won't auto-sort but is easy to repeat when you add new items and
it gets a bit untidy again
