Hi all..
Is it possible to shut the computer off via rdp ?
I did not see this option when I clicked "Start"..........

TIA
Guy

Hi Guy,

The "Turn off computer" button is not available when connected to a system
using RDP. However, you should be able to shutdown the remote system by
selecting "Windows Security" and using the "Turn off..." option in the Shut
Down menu.

Or, run the shutdown.exe /? command-line.

Hi Ramesh
Thanks for the info.
I am not sure you are correct.

I learned that it is possible by watching our virtual 2003 server via rdp :)
so I want to do it on my xp when I connect to work via home.........
