"All Users" desktop redirection

Hi
I'm running a W2k domain and would like to be able to
redirect the "All users" desktop from the local drives to
a network share so that everyone has the same base icons
no matter which PC they are on.
I don't want to use the normal user rediection in the GPO
as I still want users to be able to customise their
desktop without it affecting everyone else. I used to be
able to do this on NT but can't seem to find how to do in
in w2k. If anyone has an adm to do this I'd appreciate it.

Stuart,

There is not a way I know of to redirect the "All users" profile to a
central location as the directory path is located in the registry. You test
making the path to a server share (you could use DFS for load balancing) my
set the registry path via a registry entry in a GPO.

The path to the reg setting HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
