Hi, when I install new program, I will get message when I go to start and all
programs that says there is not enough room to display all programs and to
make icons smaller or unpin some items. I don't understand! would appreciate
input, thanks! TM-Kennewick,Wa

Rt Click Start>properties>start menu tab>customize>select small icons.

Check "unpin programs" under "help and support".

I would create new folders in the Start Menu locations to group similar
program folders.

Start Menu Locations
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Start Menu\Programs

I did the smaller icons step but didn't get the unpin part....I guess I'm not
the brightest crayon huh? if you have time, another response would be
appreciated. I couldn't find where to do it. Thanks sooooo much for your
help! TM

Hi! I can't believe the help! thanks! I got the scroll part and now I can at
least see all that's there, much appreciated. I don't get the folder part but
will work with it again. Do I go to the c drive under my computer and go
from there? I sure appreciate the responsed I've gotten. Thanks so much! TM

You're welcome.

What I meant about the folders is that you should consider reorganizing your
Start Menu. If you go to these following locations:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Start Menu\Programs

and create a new folder and place other similar folders into the newly
created folder. For example, if you create a folder called "Microsoft" and
moved any folder for Microsoft Office, Microsoft Games and etc into the
newly created folder called "Microsoft". This should reduce the size of your
Start Menu.

thanks again William! I will print your advice and work on that this
weekend.I am grateful for you help! thanks again! Tawnya :-)
