I want to change the option for Windows(SP2) Automatic Updates. all

and non selectable (please refer to

How could i resrtore this tab?

Thank you!!

This is just God's way of hinting to you not to be bothered with Auto
Update, as all it really does is add another layer of code that can
screw up the patching process.

Does the user account you are using have "Users" or "Administrators"
privileges? If it is a user account without admin privileges you might see
some things greyed out.

Anyway, have a look at this website:

[Automatic Updates by amset.info]
http://www.amset.info/windows/auto-updates.asp

Scroll down to the "Greyed Out Settings on a standalone machine" section.

Oh, although it probably is running, check to make sure the Automatic
Updates *service* is running in Computer Management > Services.
