I created a website last night, I uplaoded the whole thing to my server
using a serperate FTP program (dunno if that maters or not) but somhow
TODAY when i changed more of the site and went to upload it I noticed
ALL of my file source links where local ... IE
C://windows/documents/robert/website/images etc etc etc INSTEAD of just
being plain images/whater.jpg or "home1.htm"

I have all of the images i use in one foldeder called images which is a
sub folder to the location i store the html documents please help, why
did frontpage do this ... and how can I change it back...

P.s I tried to suck it up and jsut edit the code manually by taking out
the uneeded extra crap however when I do that i can no longer "view"
the website on my computer as I am editing it.. it all turns into red
X's nd such .. though that method does fix it online ...

please help me.

Cheers

For anyone having the same problem as I did. Ope nthe website up with
the problem - open up the Code locate the text line (twards the top of
the base) that says someting about base locations, derreed link page
etc and delte it. then go to the Repalcee funtion under the insert tab
and delete the extra file infromation you do not need. that should fix
the issue...

Before you use any images in a FP web/site
Always File Import the image into the FP Web/Site
