Got lots of tapes.

I have the PC , DVD burner, firewire, XP.

Still a pain.

What would be the best external gizmo if I went the izmo route?

well I've got 30 VHS, and I have a lot of Sony Digital 8, but the VHS ones i
guess are the priority

I've had this for a couple of months and it works very
well -- it's got both input and output jacks for: RCA;
SVHS; and DigitalVideo connections.
